 | Club run to NRMA Careflight Base in the grounds of Westmead Hospital, enter from Redbank Road (off Cumberland Highway) at 10.30 a.m. Parking is available on the road leading up to the base and entry is only available under supervision. We will be given an informative talk on the history and workings of this wonderful group. We will be donating $5 per car and the club will donate dollar for dollar a similar amount. This money goes towards supporting this organisation who rely mainly on fundraising activities to survive. This tour will last approximately one and a half to two hours. After we leave here, (a run sheet will be provided) we will travel to "Woodlands", 219 Cranebrook Rd., Cranebrook. Here is the most interesting collection of motors, trucks, race cars and a replica 1950 style milk bar with all the accoutrements. This property is owned by Cyril Robinson and he has picnic tables there for us to enjoy our lunch (which we will bring with us). He is a most obliging gentleman, engaging in historic midget car racing, very successfully, and looking forward to our visit. Entry to the base is conditional upon all members providing their name and address prior to attending. PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE PROVIDED YOUR DETAILS TO THE EVENTS DIRECTORS PRIOR TO THIS EVENT.
