045 - Handover Lunch and Presentation of Trophies
Story Colin Castle, Photos Francois Vivot

On arrival at the park for the Presentation Luncheon we find that the  Park Authority have built extra parking spaces since last year but we proceeded to our Club's private parking behind the pump house.  It was good to see that most people drove their Buicks instead of the moderns that used to arrive when the Presentations were held at night.

It was a bright sunny day as would be expected for a Buick function with a great roll up of members.  Some energetic members even went for a walk while others were content to stand and talk cars (hard to believe, I know!).

The caterers arrived and served up a terrific meal even running around trying to force second helpings on to us, plus dessert.

The meal was followed by the Presentation of Trophies to our Concours Winners.
Thank you to the organizers for a great day and congratulations to all the trophy winners.
